My brain perceives sparkly makeup and water ice cream (BASKIN-ROBBINS!) in like ways. When I meet either of them behind their respective counters, I exercise a lot of ooh-ing and aah-ing with grabby fingers in the air. Indie line Jouer takes a simple, straightforward approach to makeup that's both feminine and sophisticated at the same time. The make reminds me of Becca…if Becca left the beach early on to hang out downtown.

Like adept-looking, well-mannered men who also happen to be a little brusque, good glitter is small, fine and sophisticated (Ben McKenzie in a suit). It'south glitter for grownups. Picture the kind of glitter Snooki would wearable, swing the pendulum in the opposite direction, and BAM! That'due south good glitter (lamentable, Snooks!).

The sheer, virtually transparent colors incorporate a faint whisper of shimmer. I don't think I'k able to appreciate their subtlety on my pigmented lips as much equally someone with lighter lips could.

Based on what I've seen, I volition definitely Coruscate Upwards. I love the style Jouer handled the shimmer with these products, and I call up it all fits the make well. What we have here is glitter that my 30-something self feels comfortable in. Bravo, Jouer!

I need a dark-green beer right away…

I don't know almost you lot, but I'grand plum tuckered out. This calendar week kicked my butt. I blame the time change. Seriously! I know it was merely an hour, but I've felt off all calendar week long. Well, I guess it'due south been longer than that. 🙂
